Our bottles contain 25% rPET, which is currently the maximum level possible with regard to technological processes. In five years' time, according to the European directive, every new PET bottle should contain at least 25 percent recycled content. We already use these bottles now. The basic idea of the international FSC organisation is to promote environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management worldwide. In doing so, it seeks to help protect the world's disappearing, threatened and devastated forests and minimise illegal logging. The FSC forest certification scheme is the process of checking a particular forest to determine whether it is managed in accordance with the FSC standard. The extent of FSC-certified forests is growing rapidly, with 223 million hectares in 2021, roughly half of which is in Europe. Forests are among the most threatened ecosystems on the planet. FSC helps to improve the condition and stability of forest cover, which matters to us at Harmonelo.
